With over 25 years of experience in the attractions industry, I bring a unique blend of creativity and practicality to every project. In 2022, I was among the first graduating class of the University of Central Florida’s Themed Experience Master’s program.
Under the guidance of former and current Walt Disney Imagineers, attraction designers, and themed entertainment professionals, I developed a strong foundation in all aspects of themed entertainment development, including:
- Concept Development: From initial ideation to detailed pitch presentations, including concept renderings, graphics packages, and feasibility studies (attraction throughput, financial & staffing estimates).
- Storytelling & Design: Developing compelling narratives, crafting engaging storylines, and translating them into immersive experiences through storyboarding and detailed design.
In addition, during my final semester, I was honored to join Universal Creative as an intern in the Parkwide Themed Finishes department, working on the new Epic Universe theme park. My responsibilities included:
- Concept & Design: Creating concept renderings and developing paint finishes for various elements within the Epic Universe park including rockwork, interior/exterior finishes, scale models, and ride vehicles.
- Paint Documentation: Meticulously documenting paint specifications for a wide range of applications and themed areas.
My extensive background in scenic art, animatronics, and fabrication, coupled with my academic and professional experience, allows me to develop innovative and imaginative themed experiences while addressing the practical considerations of day-to-day operations, including maintenance and repair.
I am passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences and eager to contribute my skills and expertise to your next exciting project.
