Painting & Drawing

My artistic journey began unexpectedly in the mid-90s. While browsing my local mall, I stumbled upon a new airbrush shop. Mesmerized by the owner’s masterful painting of a photorealistic Marilyn Monroe portrait, I was hooked. I signed up for classes he was offering which ignited a spark, and my artistic career was born.

Since then, my skills have evolved through dedicated practice, continuing education, and a diverse range of experiences. While airbrushing remains an indispensable tool for my work in scenic art, makeup, prop fabrication, and illustration (and yes, still the occasional t-shirt!), I’ve continuously expanded my artistic repertoire.

My foundation is rooted in traditional art practices, including training in life drawing, acrylic and oil painting, illustration, sculpture, and more . This classical training provides a deep understanding of form, color theory, composition, and the importance of meticulous detail. This strong artistic base allows me to seamlessly translate my skills across various mediums, ensuring a consistent level of artistry and craftsmanship in all my endeavors.
